Solmar Consulting and Korkia plan a solar power park to Orimattila

Solmar Consulting Oy ja Korkia Oy are planning an industrial scale solar power park to the Vähä-Sorrila area in Orimattila, Finland. The total capacity of the solar power park will be 65–75 MWp of emission-free electricity, which is equivalent to the annual consumption of around 3200–3500 electrically heated detached houses.
An area of about 110 hectares in Vähä-Sorrila is being planned for the solar power park. The project has been prepared together with landowners, and land lease agreements were signed during this spring. The solar power development project has also been introduced to Orimattila city management, and the conditions for connecting the park to the grid have been clarified with the local electricity grid company.
The environmental, stormwater, and soil and landscape surveys needed for the construction permit will be conducted in summer 2024, and the the construction permit application will be prepared during the autumn. The construction schedule for the solar power park will be specified as the project progresses.

We have space, and in addition, strong expertise in solar construction technology also within local companies.
